EVENT INTERNS NEEDED

Description:

Direct hands on experience in the fashion PR world. Contact with key fashion editors (Esquire, GQ, InStyle, W, Nylon, Flaunt, etc.) and stylists on a daily basis. Experience handling events, guest lists, gift bags for select events. One on one mentoring. 

 

Requirements:

Someone that is seeking to learn more about the Fashion PR, creating High Profile Networking Events, and Fashion Shows. Self motivated, desire to learn and take the initiative on assigned projects. Exceptional organizational and personal skills. Positive attitude. Reliable. Independent. Willing to work in a fast pace environment. Experience with Excel/Word a plus. Enjoys industry events and parties. Available to intern at least 2-3 days a week from home or school.

 

Tasks Include:

Maintaining and updating Press book

Create & Organize editorial and stylist contact databases

Help write press releases/pitches to key editors and stylists

Manage guest list and door for select events

Help send packages/gifts to key editors/celebs

Research other outlets and mediums for Creative Recreation to become involved in

Handle all online/blog PR requests and pitches

Help craft various PR/marketing literature and press release

Help update website information

Complete a list of guests by calling each store/editor, etc to update our database

Mail out/deliver fashion show invitations

Check off rsvp list and update daily before the show

Help organize an in-store event with key retailers in and around LA

Develop press kits and any other press materials working with a graphic/creative intern

Note:

This internship is unpaid but a fantastic experience with one-on-one mentoring and a nice boss.
